Joe Calzaghe Vs Robert Curry (FULL FIGHT)

Joe Calzaghe Movie Rating: five / 5

  • By fletcher67, August 6, 2014 @ 3:31 am

Very honest opinion. Agree with every word.

  • By srstuber, August 6, 2014 @ 4:28 am

Agreed…..on all your posts here! Dawson beats an old, slow Tarver and
BARELY squeaked by an old, worn out Johnson and he’s the best LH out there
while Joe beats RJ and an ageless Hopkins and gets ripped to shreds?
Lunacy! Every respectable boxer, trainer and commentator acknowledge Joe as
the best 168 pounder of all time and the current best at 175. If JC fights
on and beats Dawson, critics will say Chad over rated or too green just
like with Kessler & Lacy. It’s a no win situation for Joe.

grande Calzaghe! secondo me è giusto che un pugile, agli inizi della
carriera professionistica, incontri dei pugili facili da gestire,
diversamente, può capitare che un talento venga bruciato subito…

  • By fletcher67, August 6, 2014 @ 5:09 am

This was only Calzaghes 11th fight. Jones 11th fight was against Reggie
Miller who had lost 12 fights. Jones career was 5 years ahead of Calzaghe
so to compare who they were fighting at the same time is stupid.

I didn’t know curry came in tin cans!

  • By pearcemark2, August 6, 2014 @ 6:07 am

7 years is a massive difference, especially when that disparity is with a
43 YEAR OLD MAN do you understand how fucking ancient that is in boxing
Fernando Vargas was done before he was 30

  • By Mik9751, August 6, 2014 @ 6:25 am

    33 wins no knockouts!? Wtf!

  • By Sheep Sha, August 6, 2014 @ 6:28 am

    exactly

  • By fletcher67, August 6, 2014 @ 6:30 am

Girly slaps that would probably put u on your arse.

  • By instereovideos, August 6, 2014 @ 7:10 am

@megadude07 That’s amazing for Jones… gee, I guess if not for his age,
and the weight class, and the government conspiracy, he would have beat
Calzaghe too… oh well, I guess Jones just lost to a guy who fought
    bums… it happens, right?

  • By SuperSirwanksalot, August 6, 2014 @ 7:31 am

    Those girly slaps beat,byron mitchell,jeff lacey,roy jones,bernard hopkins
and all the other yankie bums they put in his way,not to mention good brit
boxers like eubanks and robin reid, undefeated in 46 fights not bad for
    girly slaps lol!!

calzaghe had been trying to fight jones for almost 8 years before 2008 but
he didn’t have a name in america so it was too much risk too little reward
for jones. super middlewieght division just came alive in the last few
years and the big names at light heavy wouldn’t fight calzaghe. watch more
of his old fights i’ve heard them sayin calzaghe wanted to come to america
    like 10 years ago

  • By arrowbyname, August 6, 2014 @ 9:05 am

that curry guys looks like hes been eating too much curry!! okay that was
    crap…but he does look a bit fat…

  • By srstuber, August 6, 2014 @ 9:21 am

Calzaghe is one of my favorites but this guy was pitiful. My God…..what a
can!!!!!! It’s no worse than some of Tyson’s early bouts though….or
RJ’s….Or Hopkins’. Did anybody see Bernard’s “title defense” against
Morrade Hakkar(spelling?). At least Joe fought this guy early in his career
and not as champion. Funny video….thanks again Fletcher67!

  • By instereovideos, August 6, 2014 @ 9:23 am

People, everybody fights nobodies on their way to the top… this was early
in Calzaghe’s career… get over all of your conspiracy theories about
Calzaghe… he beat Jones and Hopkins because he could, not because of some
government mind control project designed to trick people into worshiping
shape shifting reptiles. Get lives, people, Calzaghe is badass, and he just
    beat everyone, period.

  • By MABMAB27, August 6, 2014 @ 10:05 am

Excellent early JC fights, fletcher67. Much appreciated.

  • By feeeuriousgeorge, August 6, 2014 @ 10:44 am

  • By caio morgan, August 6, 2014 @ 10:57 am

look you fucking prick. .when the yellow boxers from usa cum outta there
own country where lets be honest they win fights b4 they start then start
mouthing. .oh and calzaghe wasnt much younger you clown. .he fought hopkins
and jones at the end of his career , get a grip

  • By Matthew Stephens, August 6, 2014 @ 11:25 am

Every Calzaghe video is full of comments going on about how Roy was shot
when Calzaghe fought him. 🙂 Of course it’s true. Calzaghe and everyone
else knew it except Roy who wanted the fight. It is what it is but no one
who eventually won Roy would’ve troubled him in his prime but that’s
boxing. Don’t hold it against Joe! 🙂

  • By cheeseybred, August 6, 2014 @ 11:53 am

Joe looks good what did he do after this?

  • By fletcher67, August 6, 2014 @ 12:48 pm

How come when Hopkins beat Pavlik everyone was saying hes back to his best
but after Calzaghe beat Hopkins everyone was saying he beat a bum on the
slide. Calzaghe doesn’t get the respect he deserves.

  • By pearcemark2, August 6, 2014 @ 1:28 pm

@srstuber Hakkar was a mandatory defense, and at least B-Hop went out of
his way to unify his division and make superfights when he could. Joe was
HAPPY to slum it up in the super weak SMW division, fighting bum after bum
after bum in his reign as champion. Bronko Sobot, Miguel Angel Jiminez,
Tocker Pudwill, Juan Carlos Giminez Ferreyra, Mario Veit, Omar Sheika,
Evans Ashira, Kabary Salem Joe was the king of padding his record with
shitty opponents who have dumb names.

  • By Harrydeth, August 6, 2014 @ 2:23 pm

i guess your another jealous yank!

  • By oldystuff, August 6, 2014 @ 2:32 pm

I don’t now why but I’m fucking hate that pumpkinhead haircut freak 🙂

  • By Rentaghost76, August 6, 2014 @ 3:14 pm

how the hell did this bout ever get sanctioned? its like they took some bum
off the street and put some gloves on him and told him to get in the ring
    with Calzaghe for 90 seconds
