  • By Futur3B0x1ngL3g3nd, January 22, 2015 @ 12:11 pm

they all lost if thats what u mean. other than calzaghe. maseem lost
because he didnt train properly which was nothin 2 to with warren. Hatton
lost because mayweather was to good for him. Benn lost because he had no
boxing skills just a brawler. Eubank lost because he wasnt the same after
what happened with watson. None of that has anything to do with warren and
these fights wud of all still happened despite the promoter. Promoter
promote fights that is there job.

    another bad hometown stoppage

  • By DANIEL777ISRAEL, January 22, 2015 @ 1:28 pm

It is normal when a fighter complete outclasses the opponent, however
doesnt have that ko power. It happens a lot with Klitchkos too

  • By quake4soldier, January 22, 2015 @ 2:10 pm

Frank Warren is a shady bastard, he fucked up Hatton, Calzaghe, and not its
khans turn to have a fucked up career… Thanks warren!!!

  • By FSMNoodlyAppendage, January 22, 2015 @ 2:13 pm

@ArsenalAza Alot of Calzaghe’s fights were stopped like this. For whatever
reason the referees LOVED to do it. Really bad stoppages all around. Joe
only has TWO actual knockouts out of his 32 stoppages lol. He usually
outclassed his opponent anyway, but the referees sure seemed to favor him…

    make me.

  • By pornlove99, January 22, 2015 @ 4:07 pm

The ref should of been lynched!

  • By IrelandRaven, January 22, 2015 @ 4:17 pm

cus no-one respects any of them “across the pond” because of shady
match-making. same with benn and eubank.same with hamed…. see any
    similarities in the warren fighters?

  • By Adrian Lagos, January 22, 2015 @ 5:01 pm

@pearcemark2 I’ve agreed with everything you said except “Floyd fighting
the best”. I mean Mayweather has been at 147 for 7 years now, and Baldomir,
Judah, and Hatton aren’t the best and not top guys. Mayweather avoided
    Margarito and a prime Cotto.

  • By hardgayramen4ever, January 22, 2015 @ 5:52 pm

still stupid way to stop the fight, he wasn’t hurt.

  • By Poison Cloud, January 22, 2015 @ 6:14 pm

toma porrada msm felha da puta

  • By pearcemark2, January 22, 2015 @ 6:59 pm

@LogicalStatements1 Whatever Floyd does outside the sport is irrelevant.
All that matters in boxing is what happens inside the ring. You can say
he’s a dick, that his personality sucks and you don’t like him. But he’s
the best in the world. Nobody has his skills. The defense, the offense, the
footwork, the complete mastery of technique in all areas, the ability to
invent and execture spontaneous new gameplans. He’s unmatched.

Naseem wud of beaten Barrera without a doubt if he’d of trained properly he
did next to know training and Barrera trained like crazy look what he did
to Steve Robinson and Kevin Kelly. Warren makes fights but doesnt make them
if the fighter doesnt want to take them. I dont understand what u mean to
be honest how has he fucked them up.

  • By pearcemark2, January 22, 2015 @ 7:40 pm

A lot of the boxers he fought were unranked with fraudulent records and Joe
looked like SHIT against them, fighting sloppy and ugly, putting on
missedpunchfests against against pitiful level of competiton. When prime
legendary all time great fighters go against nobodies, they make them look
shitty and put them away. Joe took those guys like Thornberry and Starie
and Salem and Ashira and he plodded around, looked horrible, and won boring
meaningless decisions in front of small crowds.

  • By Futur3B0x1ngL3g3nd, January 22, 2015 @ 8:15 pm

Naseem had the the potential to beat barrera easy. He cud of been one of
the greatest ever if he’d of applied himself. An yes am pretty sure
pacquiao battered barrera to a tko victory in round 11. Barrera was a
legend no doubt. I’ve been to see him box and hes one of my favourite
boxers but he does hav flaws an can be beaten.

  • By retror0b0t, January 22, 2015 @ 8:16 pm

“they all lost if thats what u mean” I think he means that Warren protects
his fighters so much, picks bums for them to fight and only puts them in
against name fighters when they’re past their best(Tszyu) or moving out of
their weight class(Barerra) so they don’t get the respect from overseas
like they would if they had 5 or 6 big fights on their records.

  • By LogicalStatements1, January 22, 2015 @ 9:04 pm

@pearcemark2 Flyd may be a good boxer, but he don’t give a shit about the
sport so i don’t have any respect for him , like some else said , you pay
60 to see manny fight and you know at least some of that money goes to
charities and helping people out , you pay 60 to see floyd fight and that
money goes in some whores panties. the way floyd conducts himself outside
the ring and the way he treats the sport makes him pathetic he aint no
    “champion”.

  • By IrelandRaven, January 22, 2015 @ 9:13 pm

@twentyzed hamed would never have beaten prime barrera

  • By J o n a t h a n, January 22, 2015 @ 9:39 pm

it was better he pulled him out then rather than have him take a punishment
    like jess lacy.

  • By Carriecw81, January 22, 2015 @ 10:20 pm

    arther aberham next

  • By quake4soldier, January 22, 2015 @ 10:57 pm

Frank Warrens crooked ass had the fight stopped, Yet Calzaghe wanted to
keep fighting on… Calzaghes like what the fuck just happened? Frank
Warren screwed you over like normally.

  • By IrelandRaven, January 22, 2015 @ 11:15 pm

robinson what are you fucking crazy? robinson was decent, never elite, some
people even consider him a glorified journeyman, even ian darke said “any
body looking for inspiration in a journeyman champion could look to a guy
like steve robinson”. kelly again was a good operator, but barrera he
wasn’t. Hamed could NEVER beat a prime featherweigt Barrera, not a chance
in hell, very few people could. Theres a reason Barrera is a boxing legend.
He was a world class beast.

  • By Mik9751, January 22, 2015 @ 11:47 pm

    thanks alot! great fights 🙂

  • By pearcemark2, January 23, 2015 @ 12:23 am

@LogicalStatements1 How is Floyd not the best? He’s beaten all the top
guys. The only guy left for him is Manny, and Manny doesn’t have anything
to offer Floyd. He’ll be lucky if he gets another gift against Marquez.

  • By Anthony Mcintyre, January 23, 2015 @ 12:40 am

He also fought a lot of champions. A lot of the boxers he fought had very
good records and therefore got a shot at Calzaghe but such was the gulf
between him and the rest of the division he made the majority of them look
like bums! I find so unfortunate that there was not much quality in that
    division to challenge Calzaghe.
